During an autonomous run, a team’s drone successfully completed the tunnel. Once the team was through the tunnel, they selected “land” on their computer to execute a “reset.” As the drone landed, it went under the blue arch. Should the team earn points for the blue arch? Or, would the team earn landing points if the drone had landed on the landing pad and chose to not run another code?
Per rule AM9, once the coder interacts with the Drone, Controller, or coding device, no additional points can be earned until the Drone is reset to run new code following rule AM13.
To earn the points for Landing, the Drone would have had to land BEFORE the coder interacted with the computer.
